Lures

Lures carry two unique stats. Browse them at Items > Attachments > Fishing Lures.

• Quality - increases the chance a fish bites.
• Depth - the lure's depth must match or exceed the fish's minimum depth, or the fish will not bite at all.

Fish don't have soft "preferences" - each fish has a set of required lure types. If your equipped lure isn't on that list, the fish won't bite regardless of Quality or Depth. Some fish accept only a single lure type; others accept several. Check the individual fish page under Information > Fishes to see which lure types a given species accepts.
