Mining for the Gorgon

Part of the Gorgon Shade missions (requires "Deliver Us from the Dark Queen").

8 progress bar mining stages from Aegeus at Knossos. Just mine and extract to advance each stage. Can be repeated after first completion. Rewards the Gem of the Gorgon's Shade (used with Elixir and Book to spawn the Gorgon Shade wave, and for Serpent Scale upgrades).
